None of these recipes sounded very appetizing, and many called for ingredients that are rather expensive or hard to find. But the worst part was how they were organized. For instance, some recipes would say they only take 5-10 minutes, but one of the ingredients would be a sauce or pesto that is explained in the back of the book, that could take upwards of 30 minutes to prepare. Additionally, the page number for these sauces is not listed in the recipes where they're used, forcing you to either mark up the book, or constantly use the appendix to figure out what page it's on.Some recipes would also call for ingredients that are already prepared without including their preparation in the recipe itself, nor taking their preparation into consideration in how long the dish takes to make. As someone who both dislikes cooking and has very little time to dedicate to it, I did not appreciate that the prep times were so dishonest.
