The good Dr. Whitesides needs to write faster. He has a gift. This is similar to an early Grisham novel as the protagonist, who we like, gets himself tangled in the nastiest of webs. Dr. Whitesides sprinkles in plenty of enjoyable conflict and temptations along the way to keep the story flowing and juicy.But the real underlying theme here is opioid addiction, and the big business (and underworld) that thrives on the large population of addicts and slaves to opioid based medicines and drugs. I have a family member who has battled opioids for most of her adult life. Dr. Whitesides hit home here, without being preachy.Excellent read, again. Great work! Write faster, please.
